In appreciation of all the friends and fans of Paul Parker who have expressed interest in his new album, we will be releasing samples of the songs for you to preview here. Paul's new record, expected to be released in 2009, covers a wide range of emotions and musical territory. Don't worry, there will be an ample supply up-tempo tracks for all of you still eager to dance! Okay, the fans have spoken: they loved the introspective quality of "I'm Letting Go" but they also want to D.A.N.C.E. So, without further delay, here's one to get moving to... 2/24/09 -- A sample of I'll Be That Man: Producer's Note: So, Paul was in the studio today and we took a track that we've been working on and somehow found its inner pulse. Sometimes we get stuck on a song, so we set it aside, and then one day we're ready and discover a way to make it work. For an album cut, I prefer a track that moves but doesn't necessarily use all they typical tricks of a dance remix. However, I believe this track will make for some amazing remixes!! And now for our first (of many) song previews... 2/19/09 -- Here's a sample of I'm Letting Go: Producer's Note: Many times Paul will come to the studio with a lyrical idea and a melody already in hand...something that came to him that morning while driving. I'm Letting Go would be one such track. This track has a relaxing, soulful yet haunting quality that I would liken to the best solo work by Annie Lennox.
